New Services For Marion County

Stacey Foster • Mar 02, 2017

Dominator Websites, in partnership with Marion County Community Services, Inc. (MCCS, Inc), is proud to announce the launch of the Marion County Partners Program at www.marioncountypartners.com. This website is a SUPER SITE of all Marion County has to offer. You are invited to check it out!

Do you want to know when the next big event is...when a city council meeting is...or when the food pantry is open? This site is your resource! Check out the Events page where you can not only browse events, but submit your own to expand your audience. The Flippin, Yellville and Bull Shoals Chamber of Commerce event calendar links are also featured.

The star of the site is the deluxe directory of 31 categories and over 450 listings, and counting! MCCS, Inc strives to represent ALL businesses, services and organizations in Marion County with a FREE listing on the site! If you have a business, organization, provide a service or make homemade artisan items, be sure to check your listing for accuracy. We appreciate your help in making this the most valuable online resource for our county.

The service does not stop with the free listing! MCCS, Inc also offers 4 ways to highlight your business: a hyperlink to your email and website or Facebook page, an image on the rotating ticker, a single webpage to feature your business, or a large banner on the home page. The annual rates for these highlighting opportunities are extremely reasonable. All of the details are HERE!

What does the money go to when businesses buy an ad? MCCS, Inc, a non-profit 501c3, not only provides the Partners site as a service to the county, but also plans to provide an ultimate service in a brand new Community Center. The hope for the future Marion County Community Center is at the heart of the group's passion and devotion to their work. Therefore, by purchasing an ad you are helping to sustain the present websites (www.marioncountycommunityservices.org and www.marioncountypartners.com) and the future Marion County Community Center for the use of citizens and visitors to the area.

"How will people know about the site?" we've been asked. It will be publicized in the Mountaineer Echo, on Facebook (MCCS,Inc Facebook Page), flyers, window stickers, through our advertising partners, and with search engine optimization.

We love working with organizations like MCCS, Inc! Please utilize the Marion County Partners website as your online resource.

When you search for your business, a profile box should come up with details about your business including: location, phone number, hours, reviews (Google and Facebook), a link to your website or Social Media page (whatever you have put in), and any Google Posts you've written.

For most businesses, your computers house some of the most vital information in your business. The internet acts as a gateway to that information IF cyber security is not a priority. We have seen this happen more and more often in the last couple of years - unprotected computer systems and open networks ready for hackers to swoop in and take what they want. It's just not something at the top of many business owners minds when setting up a business, let alone in day to day interactions. Since the release of our last post about Tips to Avoid Email Scams, there have been new ways hackers/scammers are trying to infiltrate your business and personal info.
